Biography: Jake’s combined love of helping others and keeping active led him to pursue a career in Sports Therapy.  He graduated from the University of Gloucestershire with a BSc in Sports Therapy.

Since then, he has built up a range of experience whilst working with a variety of clients in private clinics and sporting environments. He especially enjoys the process of finding the root cause of someone’s pain and offering holistic and evidence-based guidance to help them return to daily living or the sport or activity they love pain free. He has completed research comparing the long-term effects of static stretching to foam rolling. Jake has continued to build on his experience and knowledge with post-graduate courses in topics such as the psychological implications to pain and injury, as well as diving deeper into the assessment and treatment of painful shoulders, hips and knees.

In his free time, Jake enjoys anything active, with his main passions being rugby, golf and keeping fit.
