Injury Assessment and Treatment

Pain can impact all of us regardless of age or activity levels. It can prevent us from playing our favourite sports, carrying out our hobbies or impacting our work and personal life.

Physiotherapy and Sports therapy is the solution to treating your pain.

We assess your condition and develop a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan, getting you back to living a pain free life. We help you achieve your goals with targeted hands-on treatment to reduce your symptoms and exercise prescription to get to the root cause of the problem.

We Are Here to Help

We believe in root cause analysis to ensure that we are not only treating your current aches and pains but identifying and correcting the cause of these. We see evidence-based practice, hands on treatment and movement central to the meaning of being healthy and functional.

What’s involved…

The Basics

Initial Consultation: £60 – 55 minute face to face appointment.

Follow ups: £50 – 45 minute appointment.

Please allow up to 55 minutes for face to face appointments so that we can complete payment and any rebooking.

The Assessment

We will go through a comprehensive assessment of your symptoms so that we can analyse how you are moving and what is causing your pain.

We will explain your diagnosis and what we believe to be causing it. This is so that you can understand your pain and why it may have developed.

This provides you with the knowledge and power to start making the right choices to help reduce your pain.

The Treatment Plan

We will work together with you to develop a tailored treatment plan to map out the road to return to your goals. This may mean that your exercise levels reduce slightly whilst we build your resilience up. We want to get you back to moving well quickly!

We may complete some treatment to reduce your pain and get you moving well. Treatment may consist of: joint mobilisations, stretching techniques, hands on soft tissue techniques, dry needling, kinesiology taping and education on how to manage pain.

The Rehabilitation

We will prescribe some rehabilitation exercises and stretches for you to complete outside of our appointments.

As you only see us for a short period of time in your week, the rehabilitation is what continues and speeds up the great work that has happened in your appointment.

This is the best way to get you back doing what you love most.

“They are professional, methodological, great listeners & results driven.”

“I first went to ReBalance Injury Clinic in between Lockdowns after picking up an injury from under activity & over training too quickly. We started back at the beginning with a mixture of massage, rehab exercises & adapting a training plan to get my technique back.

They are so knowledgeable in their field as well as recommending & keeping things realistic about training routines. They are professional, methodological, great listeners & results driven. She helped me get back into training as I did pre lockdown & reinforced the importance of training mindfully with a mind muscle connection.”
